Case topic at MIR-Expo

Russia follows the global agenda of increasing energy saving and decarbonization, while

there is insufficient domestic consumption by domestic metallurgical

plants of environmentally friendly types of metallurgical raw materials, such as scrap metals, HBI, sponge iron.

Young specialists participating in the championship must select and develop a project to create one of the types of factories:

1. construction of a mini-metallurgical plant;

2. construction of a plant for the production of sponge iron;

3. construction of a plant for the production of HBI

The play “Steelworkers”, a modern industrial drama in a professional production,

Congress hall

Friendship, love, professional honor, self-sacrifice for a common goal and dedication against the backdrop of a steel foundry, open-hearth furnaces and molten steel.

The play “Steelworkers”, written on the initiative of Oleg Efremov, and which thundered throughout the country in the 1970s, is one of the brightest images of Soviet drama in the genre of industrial drama. The premiere took place on October 14, 1973 and, in fact, opened the Efremov Moscow Art Theater.

In the first part of the performance, with the help of video installations and electronic music, viewers find themselves at a metallurgical plant, where a new steelmaker, Viktor Lagutin, arrives. Victor begins to fight against the established order and turns his colleagues against him. The second part of the performance is performed in the “storytelling” genre. Many of the original production’s roles are played by just four actors.

Topic: “Unjustified tax benefit: Reconstruction of the tax base during audits, approaches of the Federal Tax Service of Russia and judicial practice on

matters related to scrap and waste management.”

Questions for consideration, questions for comments from listeners:

1. VAT reimbursement by metal scrappers, how does the Federal Tax Service react, are there any refusals?

2. Risks of working with an individual entrepreneur for the delivery of scrap to an organization, is there any arbitration practice (individual entrepreneurs are on the simplified tax system of 6%)

3. Late provision by counterparties of documents (DPD) for the delivery of scrap, is it necessary to make a “clarification” or is it possible
